"Ondine" was a book that I rarely put down because it captivated me from the first page on. Warwick, the fierce and hard Lord of Chatham captured my heart right at the beginning - and When I wrote my review for Heather Graham's book "When we touch", my last sentence was that this "was the first but definitely not the last book by Heather Graham 4/5.

‘Ondine- the summer of Shambles’ has to be one of the most amusing and adorable books I’ve ever read. Although aimed at the 12+ age range it definitely contains elements of adult humour and made for a fun, light-hearted read that I flew through within a day/5(36).

Ondine is a Irish romantic drama film directed and written by Neil Jordan and starring Colin Farrell and Alicja film was shot on location in Castletownbere, Ireland, and it touches upon the possible existence of the mythological selkie bringing hope and love to humans they so much want to become.

The film had its North American premiere as part of the Music by: Kjartan Sveinsson. Ondine saw a glimpse of warmth about him as he nodded briefly to the little jackanapes, a single brow raising as if the two exchanged a thought, the thought being that the magistrate was a man contemptible, beneath : Kensington.

ONDINE is right up there with her best (see my BEST lists and my other reviews of her works). Set in England in the reign of Charles II in the late s, Graham masterfully weaves in history that makes the era come alive.

An Irish fisherman discovers a woman in his fishing net whom his precocious daughter believes to be a selkie/10(K). ONDINE is a great example of a book that has a nice balance of mystery, romance and intrique.

I did like the fact that the couple seem to work together and communicate with each other and there didn't seem to be ridiculous plot contrivances for the 5/5(5).
